Maharashtra is the powerhouse of India’s growth (14% of India’s GDP) and in 2025 its economy is expected to have an output of INR 49.4 Trillion (USD 580 Billion).

 

The State has been able to grow and reduce its carbon and water intensity at the same time. Over the next five (5) years, the State is actively investing in green-housing, biofuels, sustainable transportation, regenerative-agriculture, green hydrogen production, offset projects and many other initiatives. State policies are creating an enabling environment to attract investments and businesses.

The State has a strong pipeline of bankable investment opportunities and backed by its excellent labour 
pool, Government policies and conducive infrastructure, it continues to be the most exciting investment destination.  State leadership has been working diligently at attracting the right technology and capital to meet its strategic goals of climate aligned development.
