Aakash Shah is a Partner at Peak Sustainability Ventures, where he leads the investment team. He has built deep domain expertise in Energy, Water, Climate, Alternative Materials, Carbon Markets and Food Systems. He is on the Board of multiple portfolio companies, and is also an Advisory Board member to U.S.-based Global Development Incubator. Aakash is an active voice in India’s climate ecosystem, and has done a TEDx Talk titled “The Hidden Cost of Everything We Do”.

An experienced investor and entrepreneur, Aakash has spent the past eleven years in venture capital across multiple global funds, including Sattva Capital (Mumbai-based, private investment office), Accion Venture Lab (global seed stage fintech fund) and Contrarian Partners (seed-stage tech VC).

Aakash also has 7 years of entrepreneurial experience, and is a VC-backed, succesfully exited founder. He is the co-founder of NeonVest, an AI-based global platform connecting founders and investors through 1-1 video chats, which raised multiple rounds of capital and was acquired in 2024 by a New York-based tech company.

Aakash started his career in Investment Research at Aksia, a $160B, New York-based, hedge fund advisory firm. He holds a B.Sc. in Finance and International Business from the NYU Stern School of Business.
