Rajat is the CEO, Specialty Sector; Head Group Transformation; and Group Management Board member at the RPG Group. His sector portfolio includes Harrisons Malayalam, a plantation company; Raychem RPG, an energy infrastructure company; and RPG Life Sciences, a pharma company. More recently, he has been driving the incubation of a carbon offset business at the RPG Group – Asvata Climate Solutions.

Rajat leads group-wide initiatives in digital and innovation and is the Group Chief Strategy Officer. Before joining the RPG Group, Rajat worked at Hero MotoCorp and was a Partner with McKinsey & Company, having worked with the firm for more than 16 years.

Rajat is an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad, where he received gold medal for academic excellence, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT-Delhi. Rajat is passionate about understanding the impact of climate change on sectors including agriculture, pursuing technological innovations, and charting sustainable growth.
