Shri Vaibhav Waghmare, IAS (2019 batch, Maharashtra Cadre) currently serves as Additional Development Commissioner (Industries), Government of Maharashtra. In this role, he oversees MAITRI the state’s single-window facilitation cell ensuring timely approvals, investor handholding, and grievance redressal. He also leads export promotion and ODOP initiatives, supporting implementation of the Maharashtra State Export Promotion Policy 2023 to strengthen the state’s export ecosystem.

Previously, he served as Assistant Collector (Dharni), Project Officer for ITDP (Aheri, Gadchiroli), and CEO, Zilla Parishad Washim, driving rural governance and district development. He holds a degree in Computer Science and IT from Shivaji University and an LL.M. from NLU Delhi.
