Vineet has more than 20 years of rich diverse experience in Hydrocarbon Industry in various roles, viz. Refinery Operations, Process Design & Development, Consulting, Strategy & Business Development. Currently, working as Director – Business Development for LanzaJet and LanzaTech, he is actively engaged in industry advocacy and in fostering value-addition opportunities with project developers in the areas of Carbon Capture Utilization (CCU) and Sustainable fuels and Chemicals. He is driving the deployment of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) projects through LanzaJet and LanzaTech, while supporting the global aviation sector’s transition toward net-zero emissions.

Previously he has worked with Reliance Industries Ltd. at Jamnagar Refinery, and with Engineers India Ltd., where he has worked on several Refining, Petrochemical, Coal Gasification, Fertilizer, Hydrogen, Sustainable Fuels and Decarbonization assignments with clients on entire project value chain from concept to commissioning. Carried out several Suo-motu prefeasibility studies suggesting value add options to increase refining margins, developed 15yr vision plan for a major pvt. Refiner, evaluated various refining petrochemical, advance biofuels and sustainable fuel and decarbonization technologies. Helped company diversify into Coal gasification, Bio-Fuels, Green H2/ Ammonia & Ferrous sector, initiate strategic tie-ups & due diligence for equity investments, developed company’s 5yr Business plan and Strategic growth plan.

A regular speaker at various prestigious conferences around the world, he has more than 25 publications towards journals, conference proceedings and books. He has contributed in various committees and studies of national importance in India formed by NITI Aayog, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Department of Chemical & Petrochemicals (MOC&F–GoI) and Ministry of Steel, Government of India from his previous organisation.

Vineet graduated in Chemical Engineering from University School of Chemical Technology, Delhi, and has also successfully completed a one-year part-time Executive General Management Program from IIM Lucknow (Noida campus). He is a member of IIChE and a senior member of AIChE.
